This is a beautiful teardrop pendant with a large druzy agate stone in green hues! It is a unique piece and it has a small hand-sculpted leaf at the right side. The polymer clay is light green and it's hand-blended. Black ink has been added to enhance its details.
Agate has been used for healing amulets and ornaments since the Neolithic times. Theophrastus, a Greek philosopher and naturalist, named the stone after the river Achates (Greek: Αχάτης) where he first laid eyes upon it.
